But did you know that you can adjust your Powder settings to record your screen for a full session video too?
This way, you won’t miss a thing when recording gameplay, whether you’re clinching that epic speedrun or on your zillionth attempt to beat the big boss.
Step-by-Step Tutorial
In the short video above, we walk you through how to configure your Powder app settings to record your gameplay on PC.
By default, Powder saves your best short video highlights while you play.
But if you want to save the *WHOLE* session, or simply record your screen while you’re playing, just follow these easy steps:
(1) Go to Settings
In the lower lefthand corner of your screen, you’ll see a gear icon. That’s where Settings on Powder live. Click that icon to start configuring your Powder app.
(2) Toggle on Full session recording
In Settings, in the Recording Mode section, switch the Full session recording toggle from OFF to ON.
(3) Check your Nav Bar
Note that it now says “Record full session” in the righthand corner of the top navigation bar instead of its usual “Launch game.”If you click that “Record full session,” you’ll see small window pop up below it.
(4) Click the big red button
They always say not to, but this time we’re giving you permission: Click the big red button! By doing that, you’re set and ready to go.
And voilà!
You’ve reached the end of this tutorial — one step closer to being a pro at capturing all of your best gaming moments and sharing them with the world, thanks to Powder PC.
